"Investments" is part of our name, not a description of a service. Aura Investments does not provide financial, investment, brokerage, real-estate, or legal services or advice of any kind. We simply make introductions between people.

1. Acceptance

By using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What Aura Investments is

Aura Investments is an independent art-patronage project. We introduce property owners with vacant homes to artists who have volunteered to temporarily occupy them. We are only the introduction. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, any communication, arrangement, stay, agreement, payment, or relationship that you enter into with another person you meet through the site.

3. No professional services or advice

Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax, real-estate, or legal advice. We are not a landlord, broker, agent, escrow, or financial institution, and no such relationship is created with us. Any arrangement between an artist and a property owner is solely between them.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this site.

5. Your responsibilities

Provide accurate, truthful information.
Do your own due diligence — vet anyone you choose to deal with, and decide for yourself whether any arrangement is right and safe for you.
Comply with all applicable laws, including any tax, housing, and contract obligations that apply to your situation.

6. Prohibited conduct

Do not use the site to harass, defraud, impersonate, spam, or post unlawful content, or to submit anyone else's information without permission.

7. No warranty

The site and the service are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that an introduction will be made, that any person is who they claim to be, or that any arrangement will meet your expectations.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aura Investments is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising out of any arrangement or interaction between users. Our total liability to you is limited to USD $100.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aura Investments from claims arising out of your use of the site or any arrangement you enter into with another user.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; the "Effective" date reflects the latest version. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated Terms.
