Aura Investments is an independent art-patronage project that introduces property owners to artists. We are not a bank, broker, or financial or investment service, and we never ask for payment details, account numbers, or government identification.

Who we are

Aura Investments ("we," "us") operates this website to connect property owners with artists around the world who volunteer to temporarily occupy vacant homes. You can reach us any time through the contact forms on our site.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us through our forms:

Artists: your name, email, city/country, artistic discipline, an optional portfolio link, and anything you write about yourself.
Property owners: your name, email, city/country, general availability of your home, and any preferences or notes you provide.
Usage data: basic, aggregated analytics about how the site is used (see below).

We do not collect payment information, passwords, or sensitive personal data.

How we use it

To operate the service — i.e., to make introductions between property owners and volunteer artists.
To respond to you and follow up about your submission.
To understand and improve how the site is used.

Analytics & cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand site traffic. It may set cookies and process a truncated version of your IP address. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not use advertising trackers.

How we share it

We do not sell your information. We share it only:

To make an introduction — the core purpose of the site. If a match is appropriate, we may share relevant details of your submission with the other party.
With service providers who help us run the site, strictly to provide their service: our hosting provider (Vercel), our database provider (Supabase), and our analytics provider (Google).
If required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Where it's stored & how it's protected

Submissions are stored in a secured database (Supabase) with access restricted to us. We use anti-spam measures and reasonable safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure, but we take care to protect your information.

Retention

We keep submissions for as long as needed to operate the service. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Your choices & rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by reaching us through the contact forms on our site. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honor those requests.

Children

This site is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective" date above reflects the latest version.
